Business Decisions

I made a financial decision and closed the office this month.  William Boyd Photography is still in business but without a formal meeting location.  On average, I met with one to two clients a month last year, wasting a ton of money in rent and upkeep.  The majority of my clients are out-of-towners (New Orleans, Ascension, Iberville, and North Shore), so I have been traveling to meet and deliver.  If business picks up significantly, I will reconsider, but until them just give me a call or email me!

I am a photographer and since people are always looking for free shoots I assume that they must also do their job, or provide their services, for free.

I am looking to hire all types of people to do all sorts of jobs for me, as long as I do not have to pay anything. Just think, you will gain more experience, and I will put the word out for you and let everyone know what wonderful work you do. This opportunity will bring you a ton of unpaid work, but everyone will love you. So if you have a job or service you provide, and will do it for free, please let me know, because I am sure I have work for you and will hire you in a second.

Back in the saddle again ...

I've taken about a two-year hiatus, mostly shooting only friends and family.  I am back to work now - new office, new attitude, and a renewed spirit.  I will be posting more images soon!

We are back!

After a two weeks of visiting family in the Dominican Republic, we are back ... somewhat refreshed but tired. I did not have internet access while I was out so I feel extremely behind. We will be working feverishly over the next few days to play catchup!

We're Closed ... for two weeks

Our offices will be closed for about two and a half weeks (7/20/2010 - 8/6/2010). We will actually be out of the country and will not be able to respond to phone calls and email. If it is a true emergency, go ahead and send an email. I can't stay disconnected for too long so I'll be trying my best to find internet access.
